The title says it all 🙂

The images are sorted by date. The first one was taken in Early January near Melbourne. Australian Winter is the time to photograph shorebirds.

February was quite a good month as well with some feeding Royal Spoonbills and other great birds.

Another great encounter I had was with a stunning Freckled Duck (Stictonetta naevosa) male. All images can be seen HERE

And last but not least my amazing encounter with a flock of Welcome Swallows.

March was quite a busy month, too, with a trip to the Northern Territory to photograph Hooded Parrots and then a great trip to Magnetic Island.

I had to slow down a little bit in April, but managed to photograph a few stunning Crimson Rosellas (Platycercus elegans) among others

And then came May, a really fantasic month in terms of birds. Also, because I finally managed to photograph my favorite bird, the Gang Gang Cockatoo (Callocephalon fimbriatum)

July was the month of the Blue-winged Parrot (Neophema chrysostoma)

After that I had a little break again, but finished off the year really strong with a few new and fantastic birds such as
