First images of 2014

January 22, 2014

After a great end to 2013, I had an even better start to the new year 🙂

At first it looked like total failure, when my mate and I went on a trip to phtograph Superb Parrots, but completely missed out on them. However, the luck turned around, when we visited a spot I knew. It was full of birds and I could get some great images.

All brilliant shots, as always, but the Yellow-tufted Honeyeaters on that lichen-covered perch are sensational.

Wow, last photo is superb. How did you manage to get the 3 birds on the perch?

      Thanks 🙂

It’s pretty much a combination of knowing how and where to set up and a little bit of luck 🙂

You´re lucky, here in Spain it´s impossible to get the birds on a perch the first day, even the first week, they don´t trust people…

    Luck, schmuck. That’s pure skill.
